The Way I Winterize

winter patchwork quilt called the Elizabeth

I like to turn the heat way down at night and cocoon under layers of blankets. I’d love a quilt like this one because it reminds me of my grandmother’s house.

Fleece and flannel, especially these sheets.

My biggest splurge a few years ago was an expensive cashmere beanie I’m so devoted to that I sometimes wear it around the house.

A long novel like Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger that takes me on a journey out of my ordinary life.

I love turning on the twinkle lights on my porch on these early nights, especially the tin can string made by my good friend Jeff Kopish. (Email me if you want to contact him about some for yourself.)
